Admissions Process
Kindergarten / Children Centre
Now accepting applications for 2024/25 & 2025/26
Children are required to meet the applicable age for the grade level that they are applying for. Please use our Grade Level Placement Guide to ensure you are applying for the correct grade level.
Step 1
Prepare digital copies of the following documents:
- Child's Birth Certificate
- Parents' HKID or Passport
- Child's Visa (if they are not a Permanent HK Resident)
- Child's Immunization Record
- Passport sized photo of your child
- School Report from previous year (3-5 Year Old Class applicants only)

Step 2
Once the completed online application form and documents have been processed, a time will be scheduled for your family to visit the school to view the learning that occurs in our classrooms. Also on this visit, parents will meet with our management team to discuss their child's background and development, as well as our school's philosophy and programme. Children will be invited to engage in play activities accompanied by their parent(s).
Step 3
Once a student has been accepted, subject to space availability, placement will be offered by written notification to parents. Registration must be completed by the date stated in the offer letter.
Withdrawal
Parents who withdraw their child from the school must give not less than two full calendar months notice of withdrawal, in writing to the school. The notice should be delivered personally by the parent to the school office. The summer vacation, as defined in the School Calendar, shall not be counted in calculating any period of notice. School fees are collected in full during the two months notice period. Where less than two months is given, school fees for the two months will be charged.
Note : One calendar month means from the first day of a month to the last day of that month.
Primary School

The interview consists of English, Math and Putonghua assessments. The assessment includes an oral assessment of both languages.
Application for admission must be made online via our online application system.
Once the online application has been received our admissions team will review the application. You will be contacted regarding any additional information we may need. When a space in the grade level applied for opens your child will be invited for an interview. The interview consists of English, Math and Putonghua assessments. The assessment includes an oral assessment of both languages.
Year 1 assessments take place in November and December of the year prior to entry and if need be again in May. We suggest that parents complete their applications as early in the school year as possible in order to gain an early interview. Year 1 interviews are conducted in English and Putonghua with a focus on oral skills, social skills and fine motor skills.
As soon as possible after the interview you will be notified, in writing, of the application status: accepted, wait-listed or not accepted.

Step 3
A non-refundable and non-transferable online application fee of $500.00 HKD will be charged at the end of the application. Existing KIK students attending the 4-year old class that are applying for KIS (primary) are not required to pay the online application fee and will not be prompted for payment.
This fee covers the operation and maintenance cost of the system and commissions paid to our ePayment Service provider.
